My interests and hobbies include gardening,
canning, writing, and counseling others who are afflicted with epilepsy. I have now counseled well over sixteen hundred
people around the world who have or had epilepsy.
I have written my autobiography on my life with epilepsy which is entitled "Free at
Last, My Lifetime Battle to Overcome Epilepsy" and it will be available in 2007.
I host two of the only epilepsy chat rooms online each and every week.
Epilepsy Chat I on America Online is held every Wednesday night from 7-10 pm est. Anyone interested in joining us, should
email me at LisaM11463@aol.com so I can send you the link. Epilepsy Surgery Group 1 on Yahoo! also has a chat room which is held every Saturday night
from 7-10 pm est.
The instructions on how to enter Epilepsy Surgery Group 1 are as follows:
1) Make sure you are signed up for Yahoo! Messenger. If you are not, go to www.yahoo.com and create a screen name for yourself. Once you have Yahoo! Messenger installed, sign onto Yahoo! and click where it
says Add. Add JoanofArc1994 to your Messenger list.
2) Once you have added JoanofArc1994 to your Yahoo! Messenger list, I will add you
to my Messenger. You will then be receiving what is called an Invite to Conference on your computer screen each Saturday
night. Make sure that you are signed onto Yahoo and are NOT Invisible, or you will not be able to receive the invites.
3) This is very important...go to the very top left hand side of your Yahoo! Messenger
list where it says Messenger. Click on Messenger. Click Preferences. Now
click Chat. Make sure you DO NOT have Ignore Chat Invitations box checked off, or you will not be able to receive my
invites on Saturday nights.
Hope to see you in the chat room. We have a lot of wonderful members just waiting
to answer your questions and concerns. All are welcome. Whether you are a brain surgery candidate, Vagus
Nerve Stimulator, Gamma Knife Radiosurgery, External Responsive Neurostimulator System surgery candidates...or if you are
not a surgery candidate at all. Our group does not discriminate. If you or someone you know has epilepsy, you
are more than welcome to join our group and our chat room.

the misconceptions society has about epilepsy, by educating one person at a time"...Lisa-Marie Kinsman
